A travesty has been committed today. An attack against our very sovereignty as a nation. Thousands of lives most likely have been lost.

But perhaps the greatest tragedy would be to allow today's events to send us cowering into our homes, to live our lives on pins and needles. The death toll will be so horrific -- but if we let these attacks rule our lives, there will be a nation of casualties.

Keep all those involved in whatever manner in your hearts and remember that this too shall pass and we shall overcome these acts of hate.
